Talk to God

Effective prayer occurs when you talk to God and listen to what God is saying to you. When a need arises today, talk to God about it. Upon the authority of God’s Word, when you are sick, request your spiritual leaders to pray over you.

Prayer should be your first choice, not your last. Something special happens when we pray. Even medical science recognizes that prayer can be an asset to and for the sick.

People are in need all around us today. Whatever their need may be, our course of action must get beyond pity or sympathy and move to the highest level of all. What is that level? Calling upon the God of heaven, God Almighty, to step into their situation personally and miraculously.

You will have needs today. You may have needs right now. Personal pride will cause you to try to work it all out yourself. Stubbornness will just try to wait it out, thinking things will improve.

Consider God’s way: talk to Him about it right now and then open His Word, letting Him speak promise into your day. When you do, the Holy Spirit will do what only He can do in your life. He will move upon you with peace ad give you confidence that God is with you.
